WSD is an anarchic part Zimbabwean 'dhindhindi', part British punk band. The band take influence from Zimbabwean legends like The Bhundu Boys as much as they do from the early British punk scene producing a sound which has been described as 'Paul Simon's Glacelands being eaten by the Sex Pistols'. You'll find them gigging around London mostly - hell bent on bringing Afro-punk to the masses. |
