About The Lightning Strikes
The Lightning Strikes were formed in March 2006 by four people from Wall Heath, Kingswinford, Gornal and Brierley Hill. The bands' aim has always been, to play uplifting indie music and to make an extra effort to give the audience a good night of entertainment. This usually includes the stage been full of candles, glow sticks and any other light source the band can find.
Influences of theirs are Joy Division, British Sea Power, U2, Coldplay, The Verve, Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, New Radicals and others.
They have a wide variety of songs which vary from uplifting songs with uplifting lyrics, to songs that are more mellow with moving lyrics.
