About ObsidianOz
In July 2006 musician turned singer/songwriter, Oz Middleton a former guitarist of various New York bands, stretched out on his own using the moniker Obsidian Oz (he likes the unique volcanic rock)after submitting his songs to 'Garageband.com' won numerous awards and badges including 'Track of the Day'. With the songs quickly winning Gold in 'The Battle of the Bands' on the 'Fredio' internet network his songs have been aired to over 3/4 million listeners.
Today 'Obsidian Oz' is a live seven piece band with songs that reflects groups like the Moody Blues, Bob Marley, Elton John, U2, The B52's and the Police.
