Craymo is a passionate singer/songwriter who brings a positive and upbeat approach to today's music. Music Connection Magazine called his first EP "moody and contemporary." Combining the sounds of guitar driven Modern Rock, Dance and Pop, Craymo weaves a blend of catchy hooks, melodies and textured harmonies that linger in your mind long after the songs are over. His influences include The Cars, Duran Duran, The Cure, George Michael, David Bowie, Morrissey, Robbie Williams, U2 and The Beatles. He recently released his first album "Cosmos" which is available for purchase on iTunes worldwide, eMusic, Rhapsody, Napster and MusicNet! Craymo's world peace electronic/reggae song "One Love, One World" it is a song for the children of the world and is a featured song on a United Nations project, UNESCO, website www.newsongsforpeace.org As a result of being on the website it has been performed by children's choirs at several elementary schools all across the USA and Canada.
Craymo recently won the online songwriting competition at www.makeastar.com with his song "Love Me Or Leave Me." His song "Happy Birthday (remix)" is the theme song for an indie film short entitled Super Southern Sweet Sixteen, a parody of the MTV series, that is currently playing film festivals. He was a finalist in the pop/rock category for his song "Happy Birthday" in the artists undiscovered songwriting competition at www.mbstia.com and 'Happy Birthday (remix)" was the 3rd place winner in the dance/electronic category of the 2006 Pacific Songwriting Competition out of New Zealand. "Happy Birthday" was recently featured in an episode of the Canadian reality TV series Chris And John To The Rescue! Craymo received honorable mention in the Unisong Songwriting Competition in 2000 and in 2001 and was a top 20 pop finalist in 2007! His publishing company Craymo Music, BMI along with Moho Music, ASCAP recently licensed the theme song "Looking Good Feeling Good" in the independent film "Silly Movie 2" starring Eric Roberts and Michael Jackson. He also recently licensed his song Migraine in the indie teen film "That Darn Bear". His song "Take It Slow" is licensed in the independent film "Rubbernecking," (Accidents Can Happen) starring Corbin Bernson and Debra Wilson of MadTV. Craymo licensed his song Be My Girl in the indie film "Paper Thin Immortals." Craymo has also appeared on the original Star Search with Ed McMahan as a male vocalist and has performed as an actor on the daytime soap operas, "General Hospital" and "Days of Our Lives" as well as in independent films as well as the HBO original film Recount with Laura Dern and Kevin Spscey. Craymo and his band have been playing the Los Angeles club scene, including opening a show for Smashmouth. He also recently performed at the Sing Out For AIDS benefit concert along with indie girl group Betty who sing the theme song for Showtime's The L Word. Craymo also recently co-wrote the theme song for the new reality show "Sinbad's Reality U and his song "Daybreak" is featured in the indie film Successful Failures 2!
Craymo comes from a small town in upstate New York and fell in love with songs "that take you on a journey to another place." He is a sensitive, charismatic artist whose songs speak of real life experiences and emotions. He loves performing, always reaching out to new fans.
