If we can describe our mixed emotions on having a chance to open up for Motley Crue in three words:

THANKS AMERICAN IDOL

What does that got to do with this competition?

A few days ago, I was in line for the next season's American Idol. Just like how Daughtry got lucky, the main purpose of me being there was to give a lil bit more exposure to Soul Distraction.

Even though the judges thought I was good, I was not what "they are looking for". I was not disappointed for that rejection, actually relieved. I was surrounded by mostly "teeny boppers" and I don't think I could last more than five minutes in a room with them.

So we drove 12+ hours back from UT to WA in a day and this was what we heard on the radio:

A CHANCE TO OPEN UP FOR MOTLEY CRUE.

We both said, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!"

Fast forward to present time, here we are right now. Playing the right game. This is more for Soul Distraction.

A lot of respect goes out to everyone involved to make this competition happen. Thank you for giving us, indie artists, this incredible opportunity. Surely we'll learn lots of new things and we are looking forward to that.

So vote for us and have fun at the battlefield! :D
