First Fridays Tragedy

The event started out great! I ended up being involved with a lot of things that where happening. I even got to meet two of our members, I'm so horrible with names, but I think it was "Ali and Travis"? They seemed like really nice people. We chatted for a few mins between people coming and going to and from my art booth.
Yes I set up outside, and the day seemed a continual beautiful. After the members left I was blessed with a few sales.
Then it happened, the sky turned dark and within minutes the wind got really evil.
It blew so hard it squashed my canopy down on top of all my glass works and threw my pictures some 15 -20 feet away from my spot.
My canopy that I just bought and set up for the first time was folded and destroyed like a crumpled origami sculpture.
Some of my glass pieces where reduced to large grains of sharp sand.
My pride was so hurt.
All of the hours, days, weeks, and months spent on creating those pieces where destroyed in a matter of five minutes.
So now I'm heavy heartedly heading back to the drawing board in hopes to create more works for future shows.
