Christmas time comes with many gifts, all decoratively wrapped up...but let's not forget the one who came lowly wrapped in swaddling clothes and born in a manger, for there was no room for the King of Kings when he left His throne in heaven to be born of woman and to ransom humanity. The greatest gift of all!!!

In remembrance of the greatest promise fulfilled to mankind and sincere gratitude to the One who lay aside His High estate and majesty and be born humble and lowly for the sake of man, I have arranged a medley of Christmas Carols, which is a free gift to you at my artist page on Reverbnation.

A Summer to Remember 2008

This has been a summer to remember. Back in the beginning of July, DestinationDawn began to climb up the Alternative Charts finally reaching 2 on Reverbnation! Much celebrating and rejoicing! The long awaited rise into the Top 100 on the WorldWide Music Charts also occurred. Then for several weeks there was rising in the twenties on the WorldWide Charts. There were two song releases "The Sixth Seal" and "Fragile." Then on August 12th, word was received that DestinationDawn would be featured on the Homepage of Reverbnation and a few hundred thousand Facebook apps. My gratitude and appreciation cannot be contained to words or expressed to the fullest extent. I am ecstatic and so very thankful!!! The increase in fans and circle of artist friends has been tremendous. On August 21, 2008...DestinationDa­wn cracked into the Top Ten on the WorldWide Music Charts reaching 9!!!! Exuberance and Joy...Gratitude and Appreciation. Then on August 31, 2008 DestinationDawn hit NUMBER ONE on the Alternative Charts!!! I feel so blessed...It has been a summer to remember! One of those special moments on this road of life...One of the High Times. I am so very thankful!!!

New Video Out!

March is opening quite excitedly. DestinationDawn is in the top twenties on the Alternative Charts at Reverbnation. Overall Artist rank is 45 out of 12,000!(www.reverbnation.com/destinationdawn)Stop by and check out the new music video for the song "Wake Up" This song was written in despair over the accidental death by overdose of a loved one. Sorrow gave birth to this song and has risen to be a healing process at the same time. Checked out the podcast here at Cyqo! Loved the music and the program. If you haven't checked it out, you must. This artist writes all the lyrics and music for her many compositions and contributes the lead and backing vocals, keyboards, guitar, flute, mandolin, and congas, along with many other instruments in a blend that is very distinct, but yet eclectic. She also engineers and produces all of her music. She is currently based in Central Florida, emigrating from New York, where her writing began. She was highly influenced by her parents' show business background. Her parents were the famous "Skating Olympics" of vaudeville, burlesque, and movie fame. Growing up, DestinationDawn began performing on stage as a dancer, and later as a model. However, music was always a passion in her life. She majored in music in college and has been in various rock bands over the years. She has performed in the past with the Ocala Festival Orchestra and is presently playing keyboards in a Praise and Worship band in Lady Lake. She is making guest appearances with various bands in different projects. StarWing Productions produces all of her compositions and is owned and operated by DestinationDawn.
