Studio work!

Well this is my first blog on the new cyqo site. They claim to one up myspace. I'll give them a chance. Eventhough I've signed up for so many sites like this and you end up getting 20 plays in three years. Anyway.....

All of Odinwar's music is recorded and written in my basement. I have a middle range home studio. I run a Dell XPS desktop with quad core. Drives are striped for easy information retreival from the three hard drives. My interfaces are Presonus Firepods x2. These things are great. Very clear. What you put in you get out. I run a Applied research vocal preamp for all my vocal work. I use a Line6 guitar pod for solos and intricate guitar work. We mic everything else. I use KRK systems Rockit 8" powered studio monitors. I use Audio-technica head phones. Fender,Ibanez,and Gibson guitars. Tama,Roland,and Epek drums. Fender basses. Marshall,Peavey and Line6 amplifiers.

I'm 30 years old and have been playing guitar and bass since I was 12. I've played in many bands. Some much better than others! I have been running my home studio for about 2 years. I've worked mostly on rock and metal. I am an electrician during the day so I only have so much time.

The first track is called On the outs.

The music was written by me(Britt Matthews) and Matt Tremblay. I play guitar and bass. Matt plays guitar and some vocals. Chris Hrabec on lead vocals. Kevin Carter on drums.

The second track is called Doom.

For this track I did all the music and Matt did all the vocals with my help.
Sorry it's a little quiet.

The next two tracks are intro and outro tracks. All done by me. Check em out.
