Times Are a Changing - New Top 100 Artists List Out

Oh times are a changing I can see...

Well if you haven't noticed the Top 10 artists on the front page of Cyqo hasn't changed for a few weeks. This isn't because I am lazy, it is because I was sitting back watching numbers trying to figure out a new way to rank the artists. Given my previous math background you know I had to be as anal as possible about this....

So, I came up with a new algorithm (huh?...way to rank bands) and it is currently in place. Oh, bands of old, from what I see, you have some SERIOUS competition brewing here. I'll give you a taste of the early numbers (in no particular order, just browsing the top 25):

Like I said, times are a changing. How do you get on the toplist? It is based almost completely off of PLAYLIST ADDS, and PAGEVIEWS for the WEEK (plus some bonus points if you are an active member of the site, comments, pics etc). In the days of old, we had this based off of total numbers which wasn't fair at all to new bands entering the site. So this is the LAST WEEK which the Top 100 Artist List will be based off old numbers. A week from today, everything changes with this list. So go get pageviews, comments, playlist adds!
