cool website: http://www.dnet-demonspace.com Listening to: Shadow and Shade Podcast enclosure: How Infinisynth got it's name... 2008-04-08 Infinisynth got it's name from a film called Mindwarp, featuring Bruce Campbell and Angus Scrimm. After all the crap that happened to Future Dialogue in the '90s, I had begun working with Alex MacHein programming rhythms and backing music to accompany my guitar and vocals. I alway loved the Evild Dead series of films and was quite an Ash fan. That is what led me to Mindwarp, Ash was played by Bruce Campbell. Now Infinisynth is in the film a computer that creates any reality you wanted to experience, and the world was hooked in to it. The opening scenes were what was always planned to open a show into 'Speed'. Never could afford the rights, so we're all still waiting for that. It also stars Angus Scrimm, who does a brilliant job performing the Tall Man in the Phantasm series. All these are well worth a viewing if you're into horror/splat/mind-twisting movies. But that's where we got it originally, causes the band WAS INFINISYNTH to us. (the story of me playing along with infinite synthesiers is funny but not quite it.)
