heres some info on the contest

The first round has begun! Choose your favorite band, then enter a valid email address below and hit the vote button. You will receive a email that you must approve in order for your vote to count.

6 bands will be chosen to play the finals (July 12th @ Northern Lights) by or secret panel of judges...
Online polling is only part of the decision making process.

Finalists (6 bands) will be announced Friday June 27th @ 9am...
