About The XCorvettes
The XCorvettes music is Nuevo Glam. They are from South London. They formed in 2005.
The XCorvettes : are 3 humans: Valentiine X (pronounced ¡¦Star¡¦) (vox & bass), Jonny Corvette (vox & guitar), Radio (keys, b.vox & sampler) and 2 mannequins: Brian Padlock & The Brian Padlocks (Brad, drums and glamour model, Patty)
Influences range from Blondie to Blind Melon, Bowie, Muse, Nirvana, Scissor Sisters and from Green Day to Garbage.
Like every other unsigned band, The XCorvettes are trying to grab your attention and keep you interested in them.
They are also having a lot of fun in between medication and trips to the hospital.
Valentiine and Jonny work full time on The XCorvettes. They have no social life and live on the beach when they periodically get evicted.
Radio generally manages to fly under the radar and has, therefore, remained undetected, so far.
Brian Padlock & The Brian Padlocks are totally superficial, ¡¦plastic¡¦ people and all they¡¦re good for is posing.
The XCorvettes like to encourage people to dress up their alter egos (and name them) for their gigs - but this isn't compulsory!
They are recording their debut album January ¡V March 2008 and plan to release their first single from it in April 2008.
