About The Burning Sage Band
My brother Rick and I have been playing since 1963. Our first band was Somethinue if anyone remembers us I am glad your memory is still intact. I started rockin'through the sixties and seventies and even signed with a Major. Yeah, not everyone makes it that signs to a label. I was the opening act. The band named changed and so did the personel. I'm glad to say we are all still friends.
'Lehnig and Friends' 'Rasinjack' 'Lehnig' 'The Burning Sage Band' This incarnation has been at it about 15 years.
We play the songs I write (If the band likes them.) and our version of covers when we gig. It's an eclectic bit of blues, R&B, rock, Country Rock, even a smidge of Gospel if the Spirit moves me.I'm an old rocker who doesn't really care about genre labels. I write what comes down the astral pipe and love the heck out of playing and singing with my friends.
