About Urban Gospel Artist Ron J. Brown
Saint Thomas, Virgin Island native, born and raised up in the inner city of Washington, D.C., it was clear at an early age that Ron J. Brown was destined to become an entertainer and vocalist. Today, Ron J. Brown is Christian Minister, Urban Gospel Artist, Songwriter and Producer with a background and years of experience in Go-Go and R&B music.
Currently Ron is celebrating the release of his debut Prophetic CD "Godality- Live & Prophetic". Ron runs his own gospel recording studio, "God Logic Gospel Entertainment" which is located in Maryland. Ron J. Brown truly a minstrel of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ever since the age of eight Ron’s musical and vocal gifts began to develop and with formal training in voice and bass guitar, Ron was afforded many opportunities to perform musically

Ron J. Brown aspires to get pertinent exposure and to connect with the appropriate industry professionals such as: Management to secure a management deal, a booking agent that is able to book ministry engagements, concerts and events for him locally and ultimately on a “national level, and Ron is also looking to get a record deal preferably with a Christian Record Label, as a gospel artist, which would include an A&R Rep, and media contacts in order to be heard by the gospel music community on local and national levels, and to bring glory to the Lord, as a minister and gospel music artist. Ron J. Brown has strong compassion for being used by the Spirit of the Lord to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation, deliverance and healing! Ron’s debut CD "Godality- Live & Prophetic" is being sold at online CD vendors such as: CDbaby, Snocap, all of which, promotes his debut Prophetic CD "Godality- Live & Prophetic". Ron writes and produces his own gospel music and also records his own lead and background vocals.
Ever since the age of eight Ron J. Brown musical and vocal gifts began to be developed, affording him many opportunities to perform- with formal training in voice and bass guitar. Ron attended Georgetown's "Levin School of Music" which is located in Washington, DC. At the age of 13, Ron joined his grandfather’s gospel group; The Silvertones Gospel Singers of Kensington, Maryland as the bass guitar player for the group and performed in various states along the east coast. In 1995, Ron sang one of his first original compositions "God Is Coming Back Soon" at a talent showcase at Howard University’s Blackburn Center hosted by Howard University, where he had the entire place on their feet in standing ovation. After a stunning performance and being one of the winners of the talent showcase at Howard, Ron was sent to be a contestant at the famous Apollo Theater. In 1997, while in discipleship training for ministry Ron was a: praise, worship, and youth leader for a music ministry out of Rock Church International of Virginia Beach, Virginia called “One Tribe”.
In 1998 Ron J. Brown was called on by church leaders to minister in song, before some 5,000 attendees as he opened for Gospel Hall of Fame Artist- Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ. Since that time Ron J. Brown has shared the stage and platform with notable ministries such as: Bishop John Gimenez, Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Joyce Meyers, Wellington Boone and Pastor Benny Hinn. As a songwriter, arranger, and producer, Ron earned opportunities in working with various artists in: musical, dramatic, live performance and studio projects. Ron states, “I am in awe at being given the opportunity to give God glory and to be used to not only touch lives but to also be used by the Holy Spirit of the Lord to transform lives that are hurting and to encourage those who feel that there is no way out of the issues of life that we all face every day. - Ron J. Ron J. Brown possesses honesty and candor, and it's that openness that sets Ron apart from his musical peers. Because of the hardships he has endured and the hurdles he has had to jump, Ron brings a special intimacy and determination to whatever he writes and sings. This is apparent on his debut prophetic solo album, "Godality- Live & Prophetic" project, that has been a long time in the making for this former Go-Go and secular R&B songwriter/ artist who has weathered many personal and ministerial storms to bring the Body of Christ as well as world this special collection of urban styled gospel music.
Ron J. Brown is currently in production to record a CD that is solely geared toward healing which will be aptly named "The Healing CD", and is due to possibly be released in the Spring of 2008. |
