About RAWFLCOPTER

Emerging from the shambles of the Rochester music scene, Rawflcopter brings something new to the table. Starting out with three members, and quickly gaining a fourth, early Rawflcopter struggled to find a sound to suit them. With four members and four very different music tastes, the band played many shows uncertain of the style they wanted to create. Soon after their guitarist cut his career short, Rawflcopter made an astounding overnight transformation. The three original members, Justin, Baker and Jerad, now allowed to express their artistic abilities created an entirely new genre. After countless shows across southeast Minnesota and into Wisconsin the RAWC stage presence has become one of its own.

Jerad Lager, evolving from a basic beat into, what some would call an experimental mastermind, works hard to keep the backbone of Rawflcopter solid. Unaware of his surroundings, this drummer tends to get lost in his beats. From the crowd you can experience this man's passion for the music he plays as it fills the room with energy.

Michael Baker, a little man with a big bass, helps bring the entertainment factor to the stage. Playing a six string bass, Baker brings a sound like nothing you can imagine. His iconic voice and enticing lyrics tend to accentuate what is at hand, Baker's mind-blowing musical talent. If his lyrics and stage presence don't get you, his bass line will make you move, or at least be stuck in your head for the next week.

Morgan Converse, this angel has the voice of the gods; her clear tone adds something special to Rawflcopter's sound. This member of the team helps promote, set up shows, manage the website and still has energy to sing like a rock star. Her vocals add just another perk to the Rawflcopter package.

Last but not least, the man who rolls out all the tricks, Justin Allen Whiting. This guy can play just about any instrument you put in front of him, and create lyrics to counterpart. Watching him on stage playing keyboard, guitar, tambourine and harmonica, one would wonder how he can sing, let alone scream to his intensity. Justin brings the indie rap sound with his vocals and beat boxing, and adds lyrics that will melt your heart and stick in your head.

These artists put their all into what they love. Their passion for it resonates through their sound, and their show. Rawflcopter works hard for what they love and will continue to until the music dies.

Ya know something? Have ya ever been told that ya'll kinda sound like The Dead Milkmen if the Dead Milkmen were a little more acoustic and ambient? Hmmm? Influences of yours?
