About Partial Reptile

G.O.D. To promote the new singles and Satan to pay the bills as Bob embarks on the journey of his lifetime. A reading from the book of Reptile.

The night was cold, wet and depressing. Life seemed like it couldn't get any worse. Bob was at the lowest point of his existence. All of a sudden, an enchanting vocal choir became audible in the distance, backed by melodic, emotive piano playing and a string quartet of indescribable beauty. Life seemed better, things might not be as bad as he'd imagined. Then the inconsiderate neighbors started playing that partial reptile noise again. Bob killed himself.

As his blood pooled on the floor of his apartment, something that would eventually make him turn in his grave was happening thousands of miles away. partial reptile was working hard on the follow-up to his debut album, Industrial Lullabies.

The new EP, pseudomusic was well on it's way to being released as a finished product. But there were things to be done first, such as making a music video and releasing a single. The music video emerged in the form of The Winter Snow, a reflective, slow and depressing piece of music set to like-minded visuals. Some though this was it, this was the next partial reptile release. They were wrong.

Behind the scenes, partial reptile was putting the finishing touches to the second part of the puzzle. The second A in the double A-side that was to become We Make the Sun / The Winter Snow simultaneous single release.

Bob had made it to heaven. He was surprised. He'd always been a bit of a bastard. But, nevertheless, he reached the pearly gates with an all access pass and a guarantee of eternal bliss as long as he never again viewed the mortal world. After several days of happiness, Bob heard a disturbing rumour; partial reptile had another video on the way. Unable to rest in paradise while this was a possibility, Bob glanced at the mortal world. partial reptile was indeed about to release a new video for We Make the Sun, on Monday 12th of November. And to make matters worse, the singles were going on sale at the same time through http://www.downloadmusic.ie/?artist=52. As if this news wasn't devastating enough to Bob, he was cast out of Heaven for viewing the mortal coil and condemned to an eternity of listening to non-stop partial reptile while having hot pokers inserted into his nostrils.

But something even more sinister had happened. It turns out that the being known as God, was actually a music agency who had been hired by partial reptile just a few days beforehand. On realising that Bob's destiny was in their hands, the Good Ol' Deception Music Agency (GOD for short) had devised a plan that would rake up substantial royalty cheques from Satan FM.

During this time partial reptile hit on an ingenious idea; why not give away loads of free music? So partial reptile gave Industrial Lullabies away on his website http://www.partialreptile.com. Even now, minutes later, the album is still available to download for anyone who wants a copy.

partial reptile also put the new singles, We Make the Sun and The Winter Snow in his MySpace player at http://www.partialreptile.com.

In the months that were to follow, partial reptile would release the EP, pseudomusic, and Bob would embark on an epic quest to cleanse his ears of partial reptile noise. But that's a story for another day.

'More sense of musical rebellion in a single track than most indie bands can muster in a career...' Jackie Hayden, Hotpress.

'Icy Ambient at it's most disturbing... fear and beauty aplenty...its chills up the spine time...an indelible and gloomy glamour...' Overplay
