Started in the past and ending in the future! Adam and Sean met one night while out drinking and in a semi-inebriated state, they talked about starting a band. Honestly, neither one of them knew what the other was really saying, so they just nodded thier heads in agreement with each other. Sean Utah made some phone calls in the following weeks and the spots were filled. Adam Utah/vocals, Sean Utah/bass, Mark Utah/guitar, Jeff Utah/guitar and Todd Utah/drums. Adam brings a loud, in your face style that was perfected playing in the 65 Film Show. During which time, they were signed to law of inertia records and toured quite extensively. Mark is a guitar player who never quits. He is constantly all over the place and has a style all his own. Jeff is the brains behind the operation. His style of play so intricately compliments that of his band mate that it is almost superhuman. Sean brings the thunder and the new shoes! Always ready to work hard and play hard. Todd is the walking metronome, but ounce he sits down behind that kit, everyone else will no doubt have to get up and move. He is the constant driving force, the heartbeat, the pulse of Johhny Utah. With influences that range from Morrissey, Danzig, Elvis, Sanatra, Farside(RIP), Fugazi, Sunny Day Real Estate, Linda Ronstadt, Wierd Al Yankovic, New Kids on the Block, Slayer, Candysnatchers, INXS, HWM, Johhny Cash, Patrick Swayze(he did that one song!), Faith No More(RIP) and others, Johnny Utah are leading the way towards a new musical direction. This past fall they recorded thier fist studio E.P., "So Full of Love and Hate" with Vince Burke producing. Now, continuing with a live show that is reminicent of the 80's punk scene and a unique sound, Johnny Utah are making a boot print on the face of the local music scene!
