About Dark Roses
In the summer of 2006 an new band emerged from the ashes of Saviour and 3rd eye. It was exellent Guitarplayer and composer 'Roy' that came through with a whole bunch of fresh and out of the box musical ideas. Early 2007 the members decided to name the band 'DARK ROSES' which has formed with one purpose in mind, to smash your hometown with their dirty rotten sound known as the Dark Rose Metal !!!
After the first demo called ‘Apocalypto’. Mike Metal decided to dedicate his musical life to the dutch hip-hop culture, and soon a new vocalist was found in Martin, an former 'Twist Of Fate' member.
In the Autumn of 2007 Martin, joined the band to give it it’s new brutal voice. After few months of rehearsals they recorded the demo-songs, Opus Boulevard and Destruction.
Now early 2008, the band is writing new songs, but will also reinvent their earlier songs with Martin's raw and rough edged vocals.
