Bod :- is a composer / producer and multi - instrumentalist, who creates mood altering music accommodating the styles of Chill out, Break beat, Glitch, I.D.M, Old school dance, Electronica and house music, writing music for a multi - media generation.
Starting his musical pathway at the ripe age of 2 years old, he assisted his farther at Brass band rehearsals. The years to come saw bod playing a variety of instruments these include :- Cornet, Tenor Horn and Trombone, however his true passion was his love of rock pop and alternative music, so it only seemed fitting that he then went to pursue this genre so he learnt to play the drums and sing.
This took him in various musical directions playing in hard rock, indie, tribute / cover bands and studio projects. His musical flexibility ment that he was able to enjoy numerous opportunities these including : - recording at some of the UK’s prestigious recording studio’s, playing gig’s throughout the UK in various venues and festivals and also appearing on TV and Radio.
Having gained all this experience bod was getting itchy feet and wanted to get involved in composing and producing his own material, but in a totally different musical direction. Taking from all his influences such as 50’s rock n roll, 60’s pop and blues, 70’s rock and disco, 80’s electro pop, 90’s rave and dance techno, and a mish mash of music from the naughties, with this he set about creating his own music under the name of bod.
It was at this point he was approached by S - I - A Films and was asked to compose and produce a piece of music for one of their short films entitled -

Shown at festivals nationally and internationally including Hollywood Underground Film Festival, USA; The 10th Egypt International Film Festival and The Screen Room, Nottingham, UK.

During summer 2007 bod has written and produced a 5 track EP entitled - (Suburbanite) - It captures a chillout, break beat, glitch, techno and the mood shifts from dark to light. Inspired by the cosmic shifts in nature and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the music would sit beautifully along side advertising and mood changing TV or film.
In the mean time he is working on his debut album entitled - (A square peg in round holes), it’s a mixture of hard edged grimy street beats with warm flowing ambiance and random atmospheric tinges paying homage to the retro analogue vibe and mood altering flavours. Also for a future release he is currently remixing his suburbanite EP, completely mashing it up and making it barely recognisable so that by doing so it will inject a different flavour to appeal to different audiences.
